Booking couriers without an API (TCS, your own couriers)

Print labels now, hand the parcels over, and add the tracking numbers when the courier gives them.

TCS and every custom courier (M&P, Trax, your own riders...) are booked by hand: the tracker prints the labels and the courier gives you the tracking numbers. The tracking number is optional when booking.

  1. On the Book page choose the courier for the order (cities set up for it are chosen for you).
  2. Type or scan the tracking number if you already have it, or leave it empty. If the courier has a tracking format (its setup page › Tracking), a wrong number is caught right away.
  3. Press Book selected, then 🖨️ Print all. The labels follow the courier's chosen template (Settings › Labels & printing): your store name, the customer, COD, the products and quantities, the courier's name, its special note and a barcode of the order number.
The Standard label. The Tracking # line stays blank until you have the number.

Change anything on it - add your return address, move the products, use a thermal size - in the label designer.

TipProducts and quantities appear on labels of orders booked from v67 on. Older bookings never saved them.

Without a tracking number the order is tagged with the courier's tag in Shopify straight away but not marked fulfilled yet.

Adding the tracking numbers later

The panel Waiting for a tracking number lists them with their courier. Type each number (a scanner jumps to the next box), or paste order tracking pairs and press Fill from pasted pairs, then Save entered numbers. Each order is then updated in its shop (Shopify fulfilled, WooCommerce completed with a note, or your website called) with the courier, number and tracking link.

Waiting for tracking numbers. Tick orders to reprint their labels.

Fixing a number

Use Edit tracking in Recent bookings; the shop is updated too. Cancel removes the booking here and in the shop (tell the courier yourself if the parcel was already handed over).
